The Battle of Chalk Bluff was a Civil War battle that took place just a few miles from Malden. The battle occurred over the St. Francis River just west of Campbell, MO. Presenter Paul Arnold is the definitive area expert on the Civil War. Paul is an instructor at Richland R1 school district and is very knowledgeable on area history and particularly the Civil War.
